Blue and Gray Diamond Tile Backsplash

This backsplash uses diamond-shaped tile in dark blue, soft gray and tan. Set together, the diamonds make a cube pattern that seems to rise off the wall. Dark blue tiles gather in some areas and thin out in others, so the pattern feels like it is moving.

The tile sits behind a gas cooktop and under a stainless range hood, over a granite countertop. The pattern is centered under the hood, which makes it the focal point of the kitchen. On both sides, a different white wall surface continues.

The pattern stops in a clean outline where it meets the white surface on each side.
